In the image below, we’re playing Pokemon Platinum on the melonDS. The actual location may differ from emulator to emulator, but the premise remains the same. Once you have your emulator loaded up, you’ll want to go to the System drop down bar and select ‘Setup cheat codes’. Don’t worry though, you’ll be able to use these codes in your action replay just as easily. Since tracking down an action replay, a functioning Nintendo DS, and a copy of Pokemon Platinum is prohibitively expensive these days, we’ll just be talking about the process you’ll be using for an emulator. Make sure that codes you want enabled are checked.Copy a code from our list below into the text box.Select ‘Setup Cheat Codes’ or ‘ in system settings.Fortunately, the emulators you can find for a PC or for your phone use the same format as action replay codes.
